#TIC TAC TILES INSTALL#
I’m by no means a YouTuber, but I did put together a video to show you how easy it was to install our backsplash. HERE are all the great designs that Tic Tac Tiles carries. Unless you can see from my kitchen that Como Pebble would work for you too. Whenever you are committing to a project, it’s really a good idea to order samples. I’m so thankful we could make these upgrades this year. I went from despising it to staring at every detail with great satisfaction. I’m still so in awe at how pretty my kitchen is. The other colors coordinate my stainless steal appliances, brown cabinets, and white counters.
There are mirror tiles within the pattern that give my kitchen a really classy bling. You will get a better view from the video below, but the pictures don’t even do it justice. I have a lot of blue and aqua tones in my kitchen so I chose the Como Pebble design. If I didn’t have such a big mouth that can’t stop telling everyone I know about these genius tiles, you would never know that they aren’t REAL tiles on my backsplash. All I had to do was peel, stick, and sometimes cut (with scissors) each sheet. I would get back to the project the next day as time allowed. I would get one section complete and the kids would walk in the door from school. I didn’t need any special tools and I could come and go from the project over the course of a few days because there was no mess.
I was able to install it myself and it was ridiculously easy. I cannot even put to words how happy I am that we used Tic Tac Tiles for our backsplash. I knew right away that this concept was going to be the perfect fit for my DIY abilities and my cute little kitchen. I was really intrigued with Tic Tac Tiles peel and stick three dimensional backsplash. We aren’t particularly handy either so we couldn’t install tiles on our own. I knew I wanted tiles, but I really didn’t want to pay someone to install them and I can’t run away fast enough from grout. We are on a very fixed income so I took to the internet to figure out an affordable way to do our backsplash.
#TIC TAC TILES UPGRADE#
We’ve been beyond happy with this upgrade that we saved up to do for many years. When you have limited counter space, 10 inches is like a zillion inches of happiness. Hallelujah to no more grout! I went with a hard surface (Corian) material and was even able to extend one side by 10 inches. Our most current (and major) upgrade was new counters. It wasn’t a space that was fun to clean or cook in. My kitchen always seemed so dirty, gross, and old. We had old tile counters with grout that I was convinced held bacteria that could wipe out a nation. My most hated space was my kitchen and now it is my happy place.
It was a foreclosure that has needed some cosmetic repairs, but each year we try to do one big improvement.
